Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
“People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" - Theodore Roosevelt. Caring for people is the heart of medicine. I strive to provide excellent care with compassion and to collaborate with the patient to achieve optimal health. I offer my best care acknowledging health has multiple dimensions, biological, psychological, social and spiritual. I strive to address chronic issues as well as emphasizing prevention and well-being. I grew up and spent most my life in the Houston area. I went to Rice University here in Houston ( Go Owls!), and then went UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston) for medical school, and then went to the Conroe Family Practice Residency for family medicine training.
How I stay healthy and happy
I focus on getting adequate sleep, engaging in recreational social exercise, and eating healthy and in moderation. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and serving at our church. I enjoy superheroes, playing ping pong, playing guitar/singing, going out to eat, and taking pictures.
